Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, meticulously documenting progress from initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups affected by mental health issues.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and personal growth.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes in their mental health journey.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with other professionals, including mental health specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to create cohesive intervention plans.
\n
• Follow up with medical professionals for clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and support throughout their treatment.

• Proactively identify and address any behaviors or obstacles that may hinder clients’ recovery, providing necessary support to address these challenges.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing the mental and behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones, fostering a community approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Divine Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relational issues. Your clinical expertise will be vital in empowering clients from various backgrounds, guiding them towards healthier lives and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by an empathetic and supportive nature.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling role, providing direct care to clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.
\n
• Experience in dealing with clients who have physical health issues, emotional health conditions, or addiction disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
