Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and a collaborative atmosphere with fellow healthcare professionals. The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, with flexibility in hours from either 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to devise tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in the clinical education of interns, residents, and other staff, sharing your expertise and fostering the development of future healthcare professionals.
• Actively engage in clinical research initiatives with oversight from management, contributing to advancements in the field and improving practice standards.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding clinical practices and educational opportunities, thereby enhancing the overall skillset of the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily includes individuals with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active New York State Physical Therapy license is mandatory upon hiring.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, particularly in an orthopedic setting.
• A strong foundation in rehabilitation practices and excellent clinical assessment capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred but not essential.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
