This full-time, onsite position involves providing essential physical therapy services directly in patients' homes. Work Environment

This position is set in a home care environment where you will engage with patients in their homes, providing critical therapy services that often lead to more profound recovery and rehabilitation outcomes. Your work hours will generally be Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options available from 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm. Working in home care allows you to establish meaningful connections with patients, ensuring they receive individualized support in familiar surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education, to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions using specialized evaluation methods, ensuring treatment plans are tailored to meet individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at reducing pain, restoring movement, and optimizing functional independence.
• Engage in clinical teaching, mentoring physical therapy interns and residents, thereby contributing to the ongoing education of future physical therapists.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to discuss patient progress and tailor interventions to improve overall outcomes effectively.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to clinical research endeavors within your area of expertise, enhancing the clinical outcomes at Restore Strength.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injury rehabilitations, and chronic pain conditions. The focus will be on developing and executing treatment plans that address the specific challenges faced by each patient, promoting their journey to recovery in a respectful and empathetic manner.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New York State.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues alike.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capability to work independently in a home care setting.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred and will be a valuable asset in this role.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Previous involvement in community outreach programs or patient education workshops is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
