Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Goheal, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions via video chat to assess and address clients' needs effectively.

• Facilitating open discussions around emotions, experiences, and relationships to foster self-awareness and personal growth.

• Creating and maintaining individualized treatment plans based on client evaluations, utilizing solution-focused approaches grounded in clinical best practices.

• Serving as an advocate for clients by helping them set and pursue realistic mental health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will be a diverse group of individuals, carefully matched to your expertise and demographic preferences. Each client you work with is pre-screened, stable, and exhibiting low acuity, allowing for effective therapeutic relationships to develop, and ensuring that interventions can lead to meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following educational and licensing criteria:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another relevant field is required.

• An independent license to practice therapy, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), is mandatory. Limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with clients.

• A strong proficiency in computer skills, facilitating remote sessions and managing online documentation effectively.
