Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulating mental health diagnoses in accordance with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) criteria.

• Develop tailored treatment plans guided by best practice standards, ensuring that each client's specific needs are thoroughly addressed.

• Utilize various therapeutic models, including cognitive behavioral therapy and brief therapy, demonstrating adaptability in approaches based on the client’s circumstances during counseling sessions.

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, ensuring that best practices are reflected in client care.
\n
• Collaborate with other community health professionals to create integrated care plans, enhancing the support system for each client.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention, skillfully assessing the urgency of clients’ needs, and facilitating appropriate interventions and referrals.
\n
• Deliver education and training on relevant clinical topics to both team members and community partners, promoting a culture of continuous learning.

• Complete initial impact assessments and the integrated biopsychosocial assessment for incoming clients, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of their backgrounds and mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on individuals and families, especially mothers and those from underrepresented backgrounds, facing various mental health challenges. You will provide services that affirm the experiences of socioeconomic struggles and work collaboratively to empower your clients through their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent mental health license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in Oregon or the state where you reside, confirming your eligibility to practice independently.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records and effective email communication skills, ensuring streamlined documentation and client communication.

• Strong computer proficiency, especially in Windows applications, to facilitate client management tasks.
\n
• Knowledge concerning co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders to adequately address the complexities faced by clients.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload while interfacing effectively with larger support teams and resources.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 105,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
