Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to comprehend the unique needs and recovery goals of each patient seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that employ motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, focusing on the individual’s strengths.

• Facilitate engaging individual counseling sessions via secure telehealth platforms, helping clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Lead group therapy sessions that encourage peer support, sharing of experiences, and collective learning, enhancing the recovery process.

• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to coordinate integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client’s health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals grappling with substance use disorders, many of whom may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health issues. This role requires an expert understanding of addiction and recovery, as well as sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and unique life circumstances of clients, enhancing your ability to connect with and support them effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Deep knowledge of substance use disorders and proven experience in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy tailored to the needs of patients in recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
