This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing our counselors to deliver services through telehealth platforms. Our flexible scheduling accommodates a work-life balance, with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be provided with the necessary tools and technology to deliver high-quality care, connecting with clients in a manner that feels supportive and secure, regardless of geographical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify client needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with best practices and evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize various therapeutic techniques to support clients in building resilience and developing effective coping strategies.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with a network of healthcare providers and refer clients to additional services as necessary, enhancing their treatment journey.

• Document all client interactions, maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing varying degrees of distress due to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their unique challenges through personalized therapeutic support, fostering a safe and trusting environment that encourages open communication and healing.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree in a mental health discipline such as social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical counseling.

• A valid license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating strong therapeutic skills and client engagement.

• Excellent interpersonal and crisis intervention skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with experience in telehealth counseling, knowledge of trauma-informed care, and familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be highly valued. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new therapeutic techniques is encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits\n
