Work Environment

Located in scenic Front Royal, Virginia, our outpatient clinic boasts a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes collaboration and professional development. The office operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing our staff to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving the needs of our patients. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility, well-equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients, understanding and addressing their unique goals and needs to promote optimal recovery.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload, ensuring that every individual receives sufficient time and attention for their treatment.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement effective treatment plans, drawing from your prior experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Incorporate cost-effective techniques to enhance patients' mobility while prioritizing non-surgical approaches that minimize the reliance on medication.
• Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet the specific requirements of each patient.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive environment that encourages healing and progress.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate treatment efficacy and monitor patients' progress while keeping precise documentation of services rendered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Med Fit, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve assessing patients' physical needs and developing tailored rehabilitation plans that cater to varying levels of activity and mobility, ensuring that our approach aligns with each individual's lifestyle and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active and in-good-standing Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, specifically Web PT, for detailed patient documentation.
• Solid knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques supported by clinical research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desirable, allowing you to hit the ground running.
• A track record of developing and implementing successful patient-centered rehabilitation programs.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate patients, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
