Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including detailed assessments and reviews of patient histories, to inform treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans to both patients and their families, actively involving them in goal setting.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to implement personalized treatment protocols that adapt to the evolving healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide cohesive care, recognizing and responding to changes in patient conditions as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes efficiently, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
• Engage in the development and achievement of departmental goals, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Take the initiative in pursuing professional development opportunities and serve as a mentor to interns and new staff.
• Enhance the patient experience by promoting access to care and actively participating in community-based marketing initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from surgery, trauma, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) as per American Heart Association standards.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
