Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art environment with advanced equipment and a spacious 5000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite in our rehabilitation facility, where you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment alongside other skilled professionals, including physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a work-life balance that promotes both professional engagement and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' mobility challenges and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific goals.
• Deliver a variety of evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, typically managing one patient per hour, to ensure focused and attentive care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately utilizing WebPT EMR software.
• Monitor and assess patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
• Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation process, enhancing their commitment to achieving functional goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions, particularly those with limitations arising from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or chronic pain disorders. We serve a diverse client base that primarily utilizes private medical insurance, allowing for a tailored approach to care that emphasizes individual recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Proven track record of a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy and hands-on treatment techniques.
• Strong capacity for developing functional exercise protocols and rehabilitation programs.
• A commitment to ongoing professional education and staying current with industry best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with diverse patient populations and various treatment modalities.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
