This role operates within a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients using telehealth platforms while maintaining focus on their educational and mental health needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Engagement: Work directly with assigned clients experiencing major mental illnesses and/or severe emotional disorders, offering therapeutic services both remotely and within the school environment.

• Crisis Intervention: Assist with crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention as necessary, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
\n
• Individual and Group Therapy: Conduct assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions that are tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Integrated Care Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that integrate various services, ensuring coordinated communication among clients, families, and healthcare providers.

• Safety Monitoring: Identify and report unsafe situations within the school environment, using appropriate procedures to maintain a safe atmosphere for all.

• Documentation: Ensure the timely completion of treatment reports and data submissions, helping to track client progress and outcomes efficiently.

• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and committees to improve service delivery and enhance the quality of care provided to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse population of students from various backgrounds and cultures within Corpus Christi, Texas. These children may face unique challenges related to mental health, educational attainment, and access to necessary resources. Your expertise will be essential in fostering a sense of empowerment and choice among clients, aiding them in navigating their emotional and psychological issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Must possess a current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.

• Proficient in utilizing telehealth and electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
