Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored, individualized treatment plans informed by thorough clinical assessments.

• Engage with school staff and parents to understand and address the unique mental health needs of each student, fostering open lines of communication regarding progress and strategies.

• Monitor the progress of students under your care by conducting regular follow-ups and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques and approaches to assist students in coping with challenges.

• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress to comply with regulatory standards and best practices in mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, employing skills to assess and stabilize individuals in acute distress.

• Facilitate workshops and seminars for parents and educators on mental health awareness and prevention, promoting a supportive school environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on students in the Lake Stevens, Washington area, addressing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. By creating an inclusive and safe space for students, you will contribute significantly to their emotional and social development, enhancing their overall academic performance and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current Licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• At least two years of relevant experience in social work, particularly within educational or clinical settings, is essential.
