Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a personal caseload of clients by establishing positive working relationships that adhere to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to discuss their progress, assess stability, and plan for future appointments or potential discharge when indicated.
\n
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Perform intake assessments to gather necessary information for effective treatment initiation.
\n
• Conduct individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis to support clients' mental health journeys.
\n
• Participate in regular individual supervision sessions to reflect on practice and facilitate professional growth.

• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic support for all clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• An unrestricted, independent, current, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential is essential.

• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is mandatory.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing computers and technology, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY is expected.

• Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families is needed.
\n
• Comfort and competence in conducting intake assessments and creating comprehensive treatment plans are required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth modalities and remote counseling practices is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy practices and treatment models.

• Knowledge of community resources and support systems for clients in the Vancouver area.
