Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a variety of clinical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations for couples, families, and individual clients.
• Facilitating therapy sessions that focus on the needs of both partners within couples while also allowing for individual sessions to address personal concerns.
• Addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, familial conflicts, grief and loss, and the challenges faced by blended families.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that align with client goals and therapeutic outcomes.
• Creating a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere conducive to open communication and healing.
• Maintaining up-to-date clinical documentation and progress notes using our digital recording systems and patient management tools.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will predominantly involve supporting adults, adolescents, and families, with a focus on issues affecting relationship dynamics. You will be expected to address a wide range of client concerns, including but not limited to:

• Adjustment and coping strategies for separation and divorce.
• Communications difficulties and interpersonal conflict resolution.
• Grief and loss, including navigating the emotional complexities of bereavement.
• Complications arising from medical issues affecting family wellness.
• Job-related stress management and its impact on family dynamics.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits
