Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive counseling services that align with the specific needs of a multicultural client base, including treatment plans addressing emotional, psychological, and social challenges.

• Conduct routine medication management tasks, such as reminding clients to take their medications, assisting with proper storage, and monitoring adherence, ensuring clients remain compliant with prescribed treatment.

• Facilitate transportation by providing guidance on public transportation systems or driving clients in personal and agency vehicles to necessary appointments, including medical check-ups and therapy sessions.

• Procure and transport essential household supplies for clients, ensuring they have the tools necessary to maintain a stable and supportive living environment.

• Deliver services in compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual standards, ensuring adherence to all program certifications and licensing requirements.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and maintain communication with all members to support client progress and share important updates.
\n
• Document client interactions and therapeutic progress accurately and within designated timeframes, including client notes and mileage reports to maintain transparency and quality care standards.

• Assist clients with skill-building for daily living activities, including shopping, meal planning, and cooking, emphasizing supportive teaching tailored to their growth and readiness.

• Monitor clients' general mood and behavior, implementing necessary safety protocols while acting as a positive role model for coping strategies and self-care.

Qualifications\n

• Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California is essential. Note that we cannot accept applicants with an associate license due to Medicare billing regulations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, to manage documentation and client interactions effectively.

• Self-motivated and comfortable working without close supervision in a fast-paced environment with a diverse caseload.
