Rehabilitation Physical Therapist - Full-Time Role in Assisted Living

Position Overview

Clinica Recovery LLC is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to become a vital member of our rehabilitation team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work closely with residents in our Assisted Living Facility located in Teaneck, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in physical therapy, particularly with the geriatric population. As a PT in our facility, you will play an essential role in helping adult patients, primarily aged 40 to 65, regain and maintain their physical functionality and enhance their quality of life.

Work Environment

This position is conducted onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, where team collaboration is encouraged, and the focus is on patient-centered strategies for healing. Employees will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, enjoying a stable and structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions that concentrate on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and pain management in accordance with the goals set during evaluations.
• Regularly monitor and assess the progress of treatment, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, caregivers, and fellow therapists to provide integrated care that promotes patient progress and well-being.
• Educate residents and their families about proper body mechanics, fall prevention strategies, and effective mobility techniques to ensure safety and independence.
• Document all therapy sessions, treatments, and progress in accordance with company policies and industry regulations, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on the geriatric population, who often face unique mobility and functioning challenges. You will engage with residents navigating the complexities of age-related physical health issues, ensuring that each senior receives tailored care aimed at improving their independence and overall joy in life.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) License in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (DPT, MPT, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary care team.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and a patient-centered approach in all interactions.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team of health professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in a similar role, primarily working with geriatric populations in assisted living or rehabilitation settings.
• Experience in using contemporary treatment modalities and physical therapy technologies relevant to senior care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
