Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations to evaluate functional abilities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include goals for achieving optimal function based on the specific needs and conditions of each patient.
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as skilled exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance the recovery process.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home care techniques, and the use of prosthetic devices, ensuring they are equipped to manage ongoing rehabilitation outside of the clinical setting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient care, manage caseloads effectively, and coordinate treatment sessions to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will cater to a diverse population ranging from pediatric patients recovering from surgery to elderly individuals managing chronic conditions. You will play a significant role in addressing varied conditions, such as post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
