Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess clients’ mental health needs through comprehensive intake assessments and interviews, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique situations.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with individual patient goals and objectives, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, facilitating a therapeutic environment that fosters healing and growth.

• Regularly monitor client progress and re-evaluate treatment plans based on ongoing assessments to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions, particularly tailored to children and adolescents, as well as their families.

• Facilitate parent support groups, focusing on crucial issues such as adoption, placement, and tackling the complexities associated with prenatally substance-exposed children.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The population served at Sunshine Psychological Services includes a diverse range of individuals and families facing various challenges, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and trauma. Your expertise as an LMFT will be particularly impactful for families undergoing transitions, such as adoption or those managing the effects of trauma related to substance exposure.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.

• Current active state license to practice therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct experience in a clinical setting providing therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy facilitation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive earnings, we offer flexible scheduling with an expectation of 30+ hours of work per week.
