Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through our telehealth platform. You will enjoy a balanced work schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of your clients. This role allows you to effectively manage your caseload while minimizing distractions and focusing on delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments utilizing established evidence-based practices to identify clients' needs and create tailored, solution-focused treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to promote emotional healing and personal development.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure quality and privacy of care.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, engaging with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance treatment quality and share insights within the team.

• Educate and support patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and community resources to facilitate better understanding and involvement in care.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements and best practices in the mental health field, incorporating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Kids Peace Wellness Center, we primarily serve children, adolescents, and their families facing complex mental health challenges. Our clients often experience issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns. The therapist's role involves not just addressing these challenges through individualized therapy, but also fostering an environment of understanding and support for entire families, effectively enhancing the overall healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• Strong foundation in solution-based psychotherapy interventions with a commitment to personalizing care for each client.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction, familial support, and team collaboration.

• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex client cases.

Compensation and Benefits\n
