Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is designed to foster healing and recovery, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in a well-equipped clinic, ensuring you have access to the best tools for effective patient treatment. Our team operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Administer high-quality direct patient care based on the referring physician's prescriptions and in compliance with New Jersey state regulations.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations using advanced techniques to assess functional capacity and set realistic treatment goals.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans to meet each patient's evolving needs and help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, ensuring that records are accurate and up-to-date, in compliance with the department's policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for patients.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education on treatment protocols and encouraging participation in their rehabilitation process.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations following established procedures, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our clientele ranges from athletes seeking rehabilitation after sports injuries to older adults working on mobility improvements. Our goal is to provide tailored rehabilitation programs that empower patients to regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey therapy license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
