Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote outpatient office environment that fosters collaboration among a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that respect the cultural backgrounds of patients to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that techniques are culturally responsive and personalized.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, and fostering resilience in patients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention support and immediate assistance during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance collective knowledge and growth.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy, especially regarding culturally relevant considerations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensing as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a commitment to evidence-based treatment methods.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy with a strong focus on cultural competence.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to navigate difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits\n
