Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including crisis assessment and intervention, to assess clients' needs and determine appropriate care strategies.

• Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans that align with clients' needs, ensuring continuity of care throughout their treatment journey.

• Efficiently document patient interactions and treatment progression in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
\n
• Collaborate with community resources, healthcare providers, and institutional programs to facilitate holistic patient care and appropriate housing arrangements.

• Lead group therapy sessions that provide peer support and enhanced therapeutic outcomes for clients in mental health observation units.

• Participate in collaborative case conferences to contribute insights and expertise regarding patient treatment planning and potential interventions.

• Engage with the Department of Correction when necessary to ensure access and treatment disposition for incarcerated individuals seeking mental health support.

• Supervise and mentor social work interns or student volunteers in the field, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.

• Participate in clinical supervision weekly to enhance your skills and ensure adherence to best practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse patient population, managing cases that span various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and serious mental illness. Your role is pivotal in addressing the unique challenges faced by each client, whether related to social circumstances, legal issues, or personal struggles, ensuring that every individual receives tailored mental health support during critical moments in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential and must be maintained.

• Strong assessment and intervention skills in mental health care, particularly in crisis management and patient evaluation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
