Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for a diverse population of adults, exploring their psychological needs, history, and presenting problems in order to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based psychotherapeutic practices for therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by working alongside clinic psychiatrists and child psychiatry fellows to coordinate care for patients.

• Take an active role in shaping the next generation of mental health professionals by teaching classes to medical students and supervising psychotherapy residents.

• Attend regular team meetings, case consultations, and patient staffing sessions to discuss patient progress and refine treatment strategies.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client care, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans, in alignment with departmental policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will include working with individuals of various ages, particularly older adults, who face a multitude of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of California is a must.

• Demonstrated experience working with older adults, with a strong foundation in geriatric mental health.

• Proficient clinical and diagnostic skills, with an emphasis on evidence-based behavioral health practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
