The Diverse Counseling Center is actively looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position is remote but will include regular interactions with clients at our outpatient office in Fremont. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health status to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions based on evidence-based practices, addressing various issues including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring therapeutic goals are met.
\n
• Equip clients with coping mechanisms and tools to manage their challenges, facilitating positive behavioral change.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to develop comprehensive care plans.

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with substance abuse issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is mandatory.
\n
• A minimum of four years of related experience in mental health counseling is essential.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
