Work Environment\n

Working remotely from the comfort of your home, you will join a close-knit team that meets regularly for case discussions and professional development. Although your primary work will focus on therapeutic sessions conducted via telehealth, periodic in-person meetings may be held to maintain team cohesion and supervision. Your typical workweek will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for occasional evening shifts to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through virtual consultations to evaluate and address patients' psychological well-being.
\n
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect each individual’s unique challenges, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at reducing symptoms, improving coping skills, and fostering personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and healthcare teams to provide integrated care, ensuring each patient receives a holistic and multifaceted treatment approach.

• Manage crisis interventions, providing immediate support and strategies during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about their mental health conditions, therapeutic processes, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system to track patient progress and treatment efficacy.

• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and continued education to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

The patients you will work with at our clinic vary widely in age and background, facing an array of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid professional license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in Maryland.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment protocols.
\n
• Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques, and the capability to remain composed under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities, essential for building therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer applications for efficient record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
