Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with local county crisis services to complete and maintain crisis alerts, ensuring timely support for participants when they need it most.

• Manage and document transitions between hospital and inpatient services, coordinating with hospital staff to facilitate smooth discharges and transitions into our program.
\n
• Utilize advanced crisis de-escalation techniques while providing milieu support as the Clinician of the Day, ensuring client safety and maintaining a calm environment.
\n
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and create personalized safety plans, proactively identifying potential crisis triggers.
\n
• Document all interactions and assessments on the same day, particularly for clients identified as high-risk.
\n
• Create critical incident reports within 24 hours of any significant event, contributing to a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
\n
• Take part in after-hours phone support on a rotating basis, providing ongoing care coordination when urgent issues arise.
\n
• Engage proactively with participants to develop strategies that reduce reliance on crisis intervention services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele consists of adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other psychological conditions. You will be expected to address clients’ diverse needs effectively, providing tailored interventions that honor their unique backgrounds and experiences. This role is critical in preventing crises through early intervention and supportive counseling.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or a related field (MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, or PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an independent license to practice in your state (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).

• Demonstrated capacity for extensive mental reasoning among varied tasks, including effective communication and laughter in challenging situations.

• A strong ability to manage competing priorities, with proven skills in delegating tasks to maintain high-quality service within a demanding caseload environment.

• Empathy and motivation skills that inspire others, evidenced by a positive and can-do attitude.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth or remote counseling practices is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 105,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
