Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Tenet Mental Healthcare, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be primarily on adults seeking clinical psychotherapy for various issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to complex life challenges. With the backing of schools funding therapy sessions, you’ll have more time and resources to dedicate to your clients, facilitating effective treatment without the added burden of billing insurance.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master's degree from a regionally accredited university in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
\n
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or other related designations.
\n
• At least two years of clinical experience providing therapy to adults.
\n
• Strong proficiency in conducting intake assessments, making diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
\n
• Exceptional documentation skills for maintaining accurate and thorough session records.
\n
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions from licensing boards.
\n
• Licensure must be valid in the state of California.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Experience and training in evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), are highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
