The role of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Broadview is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from your home while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. You will engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality and care. While our outpatient office serves as a primary facility for in-person interactions, this remote role provides the opportunity to broaden your reach and support clients who may be unable to attend in-person sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health to ascertain their needs and establish effective treatment plans.

• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific issues faced by each individual, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individual and group-based, providing guidance and support in a multitude of areas, such as coping strategies, stress management, and conflict resolution.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations and best practices.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care involving referrals to psychiatrists and other healthcare providers as necessary.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in supervision and peer support meetings to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating versatility in treating a variety of mental health conditions.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities, crisis intervention techniques, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
