This full-time position operates remotely, allowing for flexible work arrangements while still providing direct, impactful therapeutic interventions in an outpatient setting. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate our clients’ needs. Staff are provided with a supportive digital infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and collaboration among the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and craft individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to support individual, couple, and family counseling sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, addressing prevalent mental health issues and building community among clients.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive care that meets the diverse needs of our patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Offer educational resources on various mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources to empower clients in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health records systems for documentation.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative practices and share best strategies among colleagues.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and remain abreast of the latest research findings related to mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, each facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our counselors are equipped to work with clients experiencing issues like anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders, emphasizing personalized care and culturally competent practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of New Jersey as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment techniques, and therapeutic frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting detailed mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
