Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with medical guidelines and patient-specific needs.
• Provide hands-on therapy using techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, massage, and modalities to reduce pain and promote healing.
• Guide patients through functional activities including bed mobility, transfers, ambulation, and balance training, ensuring they understand each procedure for safety and effectiveness.
• Utilize various assistive devices and equipment, such as walkers or therapeutic bands, to enhance patient mobility and facilitate therapeutic exercises.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and communicate findings with supervising physical therapists, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about post-treatment care, ensuring they are well-informed about rehabilitation strategies, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
• Participate in staff training and mentorship, enhancing team capabilities and fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Complete documentation of patient visits, maintaining accurate records of progress notes, evaluations, and treatment results in compliance with facility policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on tailoring treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of patients of varying ages, including athletes recovering from sports injuries and elderly clients needing rehabilitative support. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant License.

• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and continuous learning in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
