Work Environment

This position is onsite, providing you with the opportunity to work directly with patients in our clinic and through home care services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify specific goals and functional limitations, creating tailored intervention strategies.
• Manage an active patient caseload of one patient per hour, delivering personalized treatment sessions focused on enhancing mobility and alleviating pain.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to promote healing and restore range of motion.
• Develop individualized care plans that incorporate multiple treatment approaches, ensuring comprehensive management of each patient's condition.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies while aiming to reduce reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments clearly and accurately, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT for efficient record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and to improve overall outcomes.
• Monitor treatment outcomes meticulously, providing ongoing evaluations and modifying care plans based on patient progress.
• Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices to encourage optimal functioning and recovery.
• Promote a proactive approach to patient care through motivating and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. The diversity of our patient population requires a comprehensive understanding of various orthopedic conditions, allowing you to customize treatment for each individual, guiding them toward their recovery goals and enhancing their long-term physical well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and capable of implementing effective exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain patient records and streamline treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, enhancing your ability to perform specific assessments and treatments effectively.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient education and support, aiding them in understanding their treatment and rehabilitation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
