This position operates onsite within a bustling rehabilitation center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans that are aligned with established standards of care in physical therapy.
• Engage in the development of therapeutic interventions tailored to the patient's unique challenges, ensuring measurable progress is tracked and communicated effectively.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to devise comprehensive care strategies, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are addressed.
• Document all evaluations and treatment sessions accurately in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
• Perform screenings for conditions such as lymphedema and fall risks, offering recommendations for further treatment as needed.
• Provide inpatient care for individuals requiring acute rehabilitation, ensuring quality recovery and support.
• Deliver supervision and mentorship to students and interns, contributing to departmental education initiatives aimed at fostering professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of varying ages experiencing disabilities due to physical injuries, cognitive impairment, and psychosocial dysfunction. We focus on delivering patient-centered care that sees every individual as more than their diagnosis. Engagement with pediatric patients is also a key aspect of this role, requiring adaptability and a deep understanding of developmental needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida,, demonstrating compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting, showcasing your ability to handle diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a strong foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

• Adeptness with hospital medicine practices and familiarity with providing comprehensive inpatient therapies.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and contribution to our team. Additional benefits include:
