Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Cape Coral, our outpatient office offers a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare providers who share a common goal: to provide exceptional care and facilitate the best possible patient outcomes. Our flexible schedule promotes a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to focus on what matters most—caring for our patients. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, which ensures you have evenings and weekends free.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, adhering to the latest practices and safety standards.

• Implement individualized treatment programs based on comprehensive evaluation and treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

• Conduct thorough evaluations that may include reviewing patient history, performing specific assessments, and formulating appropriate treatment recommendations.

• Document patient interactions meticulously, ensuring to maintain clarity in initial evaluations, ongoing assessments, and discharge plans, providing a clear picture of patient progress.

• Engage in effective discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition for patients, and offering necessary follow-up care.

• Maintain compliance with all corporate and clinical training, adhering to state, local, and federal regulations.

• Communicate openly and respectfully with colleagues, patients, and family members to foster a supportive environment.

• Actively participate in facility meetings and team-building activities as assigned.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to design tailored rehabilitation programs for a diverse clientele, utilizing advanced technologies and therapeutic methodologies to ensure each patient's unique needs are met. Your contributions will help restore mobility and enhance the quality of life for these individuals, making a lasting impact on their health journey.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of Florida.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physical therapist is preferred. Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly with orthopedic patients, will be considered an asset. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and evidence-based practices will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our team.

Compensation and Benefits
