Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your time effectively while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions to address individual client needs, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Engage with interdisciplinary care teams to formulate and enhance individualized treatment plans, ensuring holistic approaches to each client’s challenges.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in adherence with health regulations and organizational policies, utilizing electronic health record systems to track client progress effectively.

• Develop and implement coping strategies that empower clients to manage their mental health independently, facilitating long-term improvement and resilience.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and foster relationships with local organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on diverse clientele within the Altoona region, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will provide support for conditions ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues, adapting your therapeutic approach based on the unique needs and backgrounds of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current independent licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health settings, with an emphasis on direct client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in community health settings, familiarity with trauma-informed care, and proficiency in telehealth platforms are highly desirable. Candidates who have engaged in specialized therapy such as family therapy, substance use counseling, or child and adolescent mental health will be preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
