Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Horizon Heal Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with clients to formulate and pursue individualized treatment goals tailored to their unique needs.

• Delivering prevention-oriented therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

• Developing, implementing, and periodically reviewing comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers.

• Engaging in regular consultations with external treatment providers and placement agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care.
\n
• Ensuring timely and thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment sessions in accordance with clinic policies and accreditation standards.

• Managing an active caseload while maintaining accurate and up-to-date session notes and follow-up measures.
\n
• Participating in team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment strategies, and to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Contributing to a positive workplace environment by sharing insights and fostering a supportive atmosphere among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting mental wellness and stability in their lives, assisting clients in navigating personal difficulties, and connecting them with appropriate community resources when necessary.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a full license (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois, demonstrating your proficiency in mental health therapy.

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A minimum of one year of experience in mental health counseling or a related field, showcasing your knowledge and skills in this area.

• Familiarity with community mental health resources and local services to better assist clients in their treatment journey.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear dialogue with clients and team members.

• Adept at building trust and rapport with clients through empathy and active listening.

• Demonstration of strong leadership qualities and a commitment to professional growth.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience in community health initiatives or familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus. Specific skills in trauma-informed care or group therapy can enhance the effectiveness of our treatments.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 yearly , dependent upon your qualifications and experience. Benefits include:
