Overview Whitridge Associates is a leading staffing firm providing top-tier talent solutions to Fortune 500 companies and mid-size enterprises across sectors such as financial services, insurance, etc. We are looking for a motivated individual with prior staffing industry experience to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This role is ideal for: Someone with IT Staffing experience in recruiting or sales who has a desire to pursue a career in sales (Business Development / Account Management). Someone who doesn\'t have staffing experience but is interested in the industry and in business development. For those without experience, you will learn the industry as a recruiter before moving into a BDM role. Key Responsibilities Client Prospecting: Initiate contact and build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers across various industries in the Northeast region. Market Research & Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities and target clients through research, networking, and outbound outreach. Relationship Building: Maintain and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. Sales Strategy Execution: Work with leadership to develop and execute sales strategies that drive new client acquisition and meet revenue goals. Pipeline Management: Manage a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities. Networking: Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to represent Whitridge Associates and expand your professional network. Qualifications Previous experience in the staffing industry is ideal (recruiting or sales). Strong communication and relationship-building skills , with the ability to engage comfortably at all levels. Organized and efficient , with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A basic understanding of Information Technology, financial services, and/or insurance industries is a plus.
