Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client’s mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration, to inform treatment plans.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create tailored, individualized treatment plans that reflect their personal goals, preferences, and overall needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), during treatment sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them throughout their healing process.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to reflect their evolving needs and outcomes.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive care model for clients.

• Stay current on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic techniques and treatment approaches.

• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development to continually improve clinical skills and knowledge base.

• Advocate for clients, working towards destigmatizing mental health challenges and ensuring that their needs are recognized and addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your expertise will support a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges and recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is required.

• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches for mood disorders, including proficiency in CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the capability to effectively engage with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for integrated care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship-building with clients and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with patients who have mood disorders in an outpatient setting.

• Experience with teletherapy and remote client management is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for client documentation and tracking.

• Active participation in community outreach or mental health advocacy initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Stride Health Care Inc. offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
