Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs.

• Perform initial screenings and assessments for incoming clients, ensuring documentation is clear, thorough, and compliant with organizational standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on patient choice and empowerment, thereby improving client outcomes.

• Contribute to the administrative duties of the clinic by ensuring timely reporting and data submission regarding client progress and treatment efficacy.

• Participate in regular team meetings and committees aimed at quality improvement and enhancing service delivery, sharing insights and best practices.

• Provide on-call coverage during designated hours to address any urgent client needs or clinical crises.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work closely with a diverse clientele, many of whom may come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your ability to provide compassionate care will be crucial, as you'll encounter clients dealing with complex mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other serious emotional disorders. You'll engage effectively with this population, offering them the support and resources necessary to promote healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey empathy and understanding.

• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

• Competency in addressing age-related or specialty issues, ensuring sensitive and appropriate care across all demographics.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health counseling setting is highly preferred, ideally with a background in clinical assessment and treatment planning. Experience working in teletherapy or remote service delivery is beneficial, as it aligns with our operational model.

Compensation and Benefits\n
