Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' orthopedic conditions, devising tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring functionality and enhancing mobility.
• Handle caseloads effectively, ensuring each patient receives focused care during scheduled sessions, typically managing one client per hour.
• Utilize proven physical therapy techniques and interventions to treat musculoskeletal injuries while advocating for alternative solutions to surgical interventions.
• Implement individualized exercise protocols, leveraging your manual therapy expertise to promote maximum recovery.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a supportive environment conducive to healing.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress closely, gather data to evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adapt care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services rendered, utilizing EMR Software, particularly WebPT, for efficient record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with active individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic typically includes athletes, weekend warriors, and active adults looking to regain mobility and strength. The rehabilitation process emphasizes patient engagement and education, offering an opportunity to profoundly impact their recovery and long-term health.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions, demonstrating a commitment to ethical practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy methods relevant to orthopedic treatment.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing tailor-made exercise routines based on individual patient assessments.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to efficiently manage patient records and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient facility or similar setting.
• Knowledge of contemporary rehabilitative techniques and a passion for continuous learning and keeping abreast of industry advancements.
• Effective communication skills that enhance rapport with patients and multivariate healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits
