Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in various home care settings throughout Lancaster, California. Our providers enjoy the autonomy of conducting therapy sessions in patients' homes, which fosters a more personalized and effective rehabilitation process. You will utilize advanced therapeutic modalities in a comfortable environment, establishing rapport and trust with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and tests to assess range of motion, muscle strength, neurological function, and overall physical performance.
• Based on evaluation results, develop and implement customized treatment plans aligned with the patient's goals and physician recommendations, modifying them as necessary to ensure optimal progress.
• Administer hands-on patient care employing physical therapy techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities like heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound.
• Provide thorough education to patients and their caregivers regarding treatment protocols, self-management techniques, and modify home exercise programs as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to formulate holistic treatment plans, ensuring all aspects of patient care are synchronized effectively.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to non-professional staff and support personnel ensuring safe and compliant patient treatment delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with diverse patient populations including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. You will apply your expertise to enhance mobility, restore physical function, and promote overall well-being through evidence-based therapy approaches.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the State of California as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your practice license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques, as well as developing and conducting tailored exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home health settings is highly desirable, as is familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management. Additionally, candidates with background in multi-disciplinary collaboration will find this role aligns with their experience.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
