Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions through telehealth, employing a variety of therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on initial assessments and ongoing evaluations, actively monitoring client progress and adapting strategies as necessary.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within our community health clinic to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, referring clients to additional services as needed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to families facing acute challenges, guiding them toward effective conflict resolution and stabilization.

• Engage in client intake processes, ensuring a thorough understanding of their history, concerns, and goals for treatment.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client confidentiality and high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, your primary focus will be on children, adolescents, and families, addressing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma recovery. You will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing various cultural backgrounds and dynamics, which will enrich your practice and promote inclusivity in therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and active state licensure in Washington as a LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC.

• At least 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
