Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing screenings to accurately evaluate clients' substance abuse history and any underlying mental health conditions.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that specifically target each client’s substance use issues as well as co-occurring mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Engage in regular collaboration with other members of the treatment team to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients' families, enhancing their involvement in the recovery process and developing their understanding of addiction.

• Maintain concise and accurate clinical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be clients experiencing substance use disorders, often accompanied by mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. You will work closely with adolescents and young adults, guiding them through the complexities of addiction recovery and supporting them in building healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Proven expertise in addiction counseling, with training in evidence-based practices for successfully treating substance abuse disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
