Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations and assessments for seniors to identify their unique needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Track and monitor client outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve the overall efficacy of the care provided.
• Facilitate family sessions to provide support and education that empowers families in their caregiving roles.
• Stay updated with Federal and State regulations concerning patient care and comply with all legal and ethical standards in practice.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to effectively manage urgent situations faced by clients and their families.
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on seniors and their families dealing with mental health challenges, end-of-life issues, and the emotional distress that often accompanies those experiences. Understanding the intricacies of aging, you will provide culturally sensitive care tailored to diverse backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of dignity, respect, and individualized support in each case.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Georgia is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience working in a mental health setting, specifically with the senior population.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
• Proven organizational skills that enable efficient management of a caseload while complying with documentation requirements.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of USD 80,000–100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
