This position is primarily remote, allowing you to provide essential counseling services from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. Although the majority of your work will be done virtually, our organization also facilitates an outpatient office environment for in-person client sessions, should you choose to meet with clients face-to-face. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies that meet the individual needs of clients.

• Deliver evidence-supported therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in regular interactions with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, groups, and families, while fostering a safe and empathetic environment for discussion and self-exploration.

• Maintain accurate clinical records to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, integrated care, ensuring that client goals are at the forefront of every team meeting.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on assisting individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. While you may encounter a variety of mental health issues—including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges—this role is especially pertinent for those struggling with substance misuse and other co-occurring disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical context is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and USD 90,000 annually, adjusted based on experience and caseload availability. You'll also receive support with billing and documentation to minimize administrative workload, allowing more time for quality client interaction.
