Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients based on their individual needs and backgrounds, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their care.

• Offer psychotherapy services in both English and Spanish, addressing a wide range of issues such as trauma, relationship dynamics, and life transitions.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR, to facilitate effective therapy sessions and monitor client progress.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide holistic care and community resources to clients.
\n
• Participate in regular training and supervision meetings to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices.
\n
• Engage with the community to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma surrounding therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a wide range of patients across different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our client base reflects the rich cultural fabric of Philadelphia, and we strive to provide services that respect and accommodate each client's unique cultural context. Therapists are encouraged to develop areas of specialization in fields such as trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health to better serve our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory for this role.
\n
• Competence in understanding and utilizing bilingual (Spanish and English) communication in therapy settings.
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services in a community or private practice setting.
\n
• Sensitivity to cultural differences and an ability to work with a diverse clientele in a respectful and affirming manner.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the capacity for self-reflection, empathy, and effective communication within a team setting.
\n
• Familiarity with using EHR software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technologies to enhance client care.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for any in-person client contacts.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Demonstrated ability to provide telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
\n
• Availability for evening and weekend sessions to accommodate client schedules and needs.
