Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that focus on resilience and trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to promote healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to an ongoing dialogue about trauma-informed practices and client care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to continually enhance your skills and therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-informed care settings.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and an array of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios, providing a calming presence for patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in utilizing computer applications effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
