Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with older adults who are contending with a variety of mental health issues commonly found within the geriatric population. This includes individuals experiencing depression resulting from loss or isolation, anxiety disorders related to health changes, dementia and memory-related challenges, and those adjusting to significant life transitions. Your expertise and empathetic approach will be vital in recognizing the nuances of mental health in older adults, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic interventions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and best practices for treatment.

• Proficiency in providing therapeutic interventions to geriatric clients and their families.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster a patient-centered approach.

• Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology-based tools required in telehealth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
