Work Environment

You will work within a dynamic rehabilitation center located in South River, NJ. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing effective therapeutic interventions to optimize patient recovery across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the overall patient experience and outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to apply evidence-based care consistently.
• Providing hands-on physical therapy in the rehabilitation center and, when necessary, consulting with patients in their homes.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers to empower them in their recovery process.
• Meeting established utilization goals and contributing to business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Oakbend, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sporting injuries, neurological disorders, and pediatric conditions. Your ability to establish rapport with patients will be crucial in creating personalized care plans and successfully helping them achieve their functional goals. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Completion of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in using word processing and computer software.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with patients and stakeholders in the community.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates who have:

• Two or more years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
