Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Thrive Plus Inc., you will engage with clients in various configurations, often providing therapy in both couples and individual settings. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitating family therapy sessions, focusing on improving communication and resolving conflicts among family members.
\n
• Addressing specific issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and relationship conflicts.
\n
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster personal growth, coping strategies, and improve mental health outcomes.
\n
• Documenting therapy sessions and updating client progress in accordance with organizational protocols and state regulations.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including adults, children, and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges. You will specialize in addressing family dynamics, including blended families and conflicts, separation and divorce adjustments, as well as individual issues related to medical or psychological stressors.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of New Jersey.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• A commitment to maintaining clinical excellence and a passion for patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

We welcome both newly licensed and experienced LMFTs. Ideal candidates will have a flexible schedule, availability of 30 hours per week or more, and a willingness to engage in continuous professional development. Experience in teletherapy practices is a plus, as we emphasize both virtual and in-person therapy sessions.
