Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify students' psychological strengths and areas for growth.

• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering emotional well-being and social integration, with a focus on practical strategies for success in school.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address issues such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions.

• Coordinate with educational professionals including teachers, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to optimize student care and support.

• Deliver crisis intervention when needed, remaining calm and strategic in high-stress situations to ensure student safety.

• Engage families in understanding mental health challenges, providing psychoeducation and resources to enhance their support system.

• Document all interactions and interventions accurately in compliance with state and federal regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The population you will serve primarily consists of students facing various mental health challenges, including those with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). You will work with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and fostering resilience in their educational journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Florida.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

While at least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we also welcome applications from exceptional candidates with less experience who show a strong commitment to professional growth and learning. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience in a multidisciplinary team setting will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
